To help me get inspired for ideas for my magazine I decided to look at the below magazine cover, I really like the way the cover is very cool, original, unique. I feel that it captures the audience instantly. I really like the way the front picture isn't a celebrity, the girl on the cover has a unique look which gets across the impression that being different and liking different things isn't wrong. I particularly like the way the magazine cover is not over powered by words and information about the magazine, it is simply a strong title, which is placed over the image to show that its the music and the magazine that's most important, not the celebrity's or who's in style. I also really like the way it says "bang bang your dead" over the girl, its a strong quote and I like the way the writing is like graffiti, this to me shows that this magazine is different for others, it 'rebels' against all other typical music magazine covers. This cover has really inspired me with lots of ideas in order to make sure my magazine is different and draws people in without using the ordinary celebrity. I realised that this is the sort of style that i would like for my magazine, I don't want to over power the audience. this magazine seems to draw me in more than the magazines that tell me lots of information.
