Photo shoot.


I have taken some photos which I feel reflect the themes and ideas I want to do for my magazine. I have used different shots and thought of many different ideas. I done my models make-up and hair the way I felt a photographer would and have changed the outfits of my models to reflect different themes. from these photos I will select the ones I feel are appropriate and start to form my front cover, contents page and double page spread. once I have chosen my images I can start to decide on fonts that either contrast or go with my images to give the most powerful effect. 


These are some of the favourite pictures that I took. I feel that I managed to create photos that each reflect different aspects of what I want my magazine to portray. Some reflect fashion, others show the rebellious and wild side of my magazine, and the ones with the suitcase combine glamour, fashion, independence and also rebellion. I knew from research that by having powerful pictures would help to make your magazine stand out so I wanted to use images that gave out a strong message and really help my magazine catch your eye without being over loaded with words. I am now going to select some of these images and start experimenting with them to make sure they are the best they can be. 



this is a really nice image. I took the photo in front of a white wall and then edited the images brightness and contrast to make it stand out. I done this on Nero Photosnap. 

In this image i decided to take it in black and white. this is because i thought it adds to the edge of the picture and would make it look more classy. i also edited the picture on Nero Photosnap to make her stand out more. i sharpened the image and edited the brightness and contrast. 

I didn't edit this picture, it was a black and white photo in front of a white background. i thought it showed and resembled fun and her hair back-combed makes her look like a normal girl that has a laugh. it also is very edgy. 

I thought this picture was really fun as its a bit flirty and provative, I like the way she is moving around and looks like she is teasing. I sharpened this picture to make it clean and also edited the brightness and contrast on Nero Photosnap. 

I really like this image as i think it is very seductive and raunchy. it shows confidance and fun. i edited it on Nero Photosnap i changed the brightness to make her glow more. 

This picture is very effective as she looks very cool and smooth. I like the way she looks like she is allmost better than others but i dont think its the right picture for my magazine. i edited it on Nero PhotoSnap. 

i like this picture allot however i have realised i want coloured pictures for my magazine. I feel that colour images are more inviteing. 

I really like the picture as i like the contrast in the colours. i actually edited this one on my camera by changing the contrast and brightness. i want to use this for my magazine and i will enhance the colours on photoshop. 

I like the above set of pictures as they really show determination, independance and class to me. i edited the brightness and contrast on Nero PhotoSnap however the sun was bright enough to add alot of useful light. i will definatly be using an image from this shoot as they are powerful and i want to show my readers achievement. i used props such as a watch clock and suitcase, these were to connote moving forward and persueing dreams. 

This picture is good as i think it is really indie. i like the converse and the bright colours as it shows rebelion and really reflects with the theme. 

I really like this image as its rebellious yet also very flirty. I like that she is smiling it shows confidence and that she is happy with herself and comfortable with her body. I will defiantly use this image for my magazine.
